New Large-Scale Retail Store

A new retail store belonging to a leading large-scale retail group has been built in Misilmeri, in the province of Palermo.
Isoparete Fire Evo, Isopan’s sandwich panel with a mineral wool insulation core, was used to complete the upper section of the façade. The solution was selected to combine fire reaction performance with a finish consistent with the architectural identity of the commercial building.
The 60 mm-thick panel features a smooth, flat steel outer surface in RAL 9006 Brilliant Grey. The uniform finish defines the upper section of the façade, enhancing its contemporary character and ensuring visual continuity across the entire elevation.
The solution has an A2-s1,d0 reaction-to-fire classification, a particularly important feature for a building open to the public, where the fire safety of the building envelope is a key requirement.
By combining a mineral wool insulation core, metal facings and high-quality finishes, Isoparete Fire Evo met the project’s technical and aesthetic requirements, contributing to the creation of a distinctive, functional façade suited to the building’s commercial use.
