Isopan’s mission has always been to promote sustainable building, offering the most innovative solutions and the use of the safest and most efficient materials. As a testament to this, in 2019 GreenROOF received the award for the Systems, Components and Materials category at the Archiproducts Design Awards: prizes for the finest examples of international design.

Once again, this year’s edition involved the participation of more than 700 products from around the world: from furniture to lighting, from contract to construction. The Archiproducts Design Awards assigns prizes in 14 product categories, thanks to the help of an independent panel of experts selected from the industry, higher education, the world of design, the media and Archiproducts editorial staff.
After being long-listed (i.e. included the list of products qualifying for the final prize stage) at ADA 2019, in November GreenROOF – the system that consists in integrating the green roof system on flat roofs built with sandwich panelling, developed in partnership with DAKU ITALIA SRL – was one of the winners of the Systems, Components and Materials category.
ISOPAN has always been committed to improvement, innovation and repurposing in the world of construction, with special attention to protecting the environment, and was highly honoured to accept this prestigious prize from a panel of world-renowned designers and architects such as Cruz y Ortiz Arquitectos and Rossana Orlandi, founder of Galleria Orlandi.
It is with great pleasure that Isopan accepts this prize and thanks DAKU Italia with whom it developed GreenROOF, but especially the panel and everyone who showed an interest in sustainable construction, such as the innovative green roof system.
