The inauguration of the East Nile Monorail marks an important milestone for Egypt and for the development of large-scale sustainable transport systems.

Isopan is proud to have contributed to this project with a tailor-made solution for the roofing system, developed to meet advanced technical requirements in terms of performance and durability.

The project involved 12 stations for a total area of approximately 30,000 sqm, characterized by complex geometries and curved surfaces, requiring a precise and coordinated engineering approach.

The roofing system features Isosmart by Isopan with PIR Bs1d0 insulation, integrated with polycarbonate elements, ensuring:

✔ excellent fire performance

✔ maximum natural daylight

✔ adaptability to complex architectural geometries

A project that required strong coordination between design and construction, supported by the Isopan Integrated Services team for the development of construction details and dedicated application solutions.
