New Greenyard Fresh Italy Logistics Hub
A project that combines thermal efficiency, operational continuity, and cutting-edge technical solutions.
Location: Trevenzuolo (VR)
Intended use: Logistics warehouse with cold rooms
Sector: Agri-food logistics
Client: Greenyard Fresh Italy
Design and installation: ITAL TVT
Isopan solutions: Isofrozen, Isocop and Isoparete EVO
Insulation: LEAF technology
The new logistics hub of Greenyard Fresh Italy was created to meet the needs of preserving and handling fruit and vegetables, ensuring optimal conditions throughout the entire cold chain.
The 28,000 m² building includes cold rooms of different volumes, designed to guarantee operational continuity, energy performance, and total reliability.
In this context, Isopan solutions play a central role in defining the building envelope, with high-performance insulating systems specifically developed for refrigerated environments and areas dedicated to storage and handling.
Isofrozen panels were used for the internal cold rooms, specifically designed for low-temperature applications and capable of ensuring excellent thermal insulation, hygiene, and stability under operating conditions. The variety of thicknesses adopted—100, 150, 120, 80 and 60 mm—makes it possible to precisely adapt insulation to the different needs of each storage zone.
For the external envelope, Isocop and Isoparete EVO panels were installed, selected for their thermo-hygrometric performance and high mechanical resistance. The Dogata and Plissé finishes ensure aesthetic uniformity, while the modularity of the systems allows for quick and simplified installation, reducing construction time.
The panels also feature LEAF technology, which enhances sustainability and indoor air quality by reducing VOC emissions, contributing to a safer environment compliant with international standards.
The EI30 and Bs2d0 performance ratings confirm the reliability of the materials in the event of fire, ensuring resistance and compliance with current regulations for cold-logistics buildings. These requirements guarantee an efficient and safe envelope—critical for complex structures such as cold rooms and high-intensity warehouses.
Additionally, the DECLARE certification for LEAF technology and recognition within the supply-chain funding program highlight the project's commitment to sustainability and transparency: from material composition to full traceability throughout the production process. This approach strengthens the overall quality of the project and underscores its environmental responsibility.
The assembly of Isopan solutions was completed in 3 months, fully respecting the timeline set by the general contractor.
The modularity of the panels and their natural compatibility with prefabrication principles enabled a fast, orderly, and efficient installation process, supporting steady site progress with no interruptions.
The new Greenyard Fresh Italy facility stands as a benchmark for agri-food logistics in Northern Italy, integrating:
- advanced technologies for fresh-food preservation
- high-performance insulating solutions
- stringent sustainability and traceability standards
The use of Isopan systems ensures energy efficiency, construction quality, and operational continuity - essential for a modern refrigerated hub designed to deliver freshness, safety, and speed throughout the supply chain.
