Contemporary industrial architecture

In the new Coprem facility in Potenza, form follows function without sacrificing aesthetic value, reinterpreting the language of industrial architecture through a clean and contemporary design.

The main façade stands out for the dynamic rhythm of vertical metal elements that articulate the elevation, creating a sequence of solids and voids that interact with natural light and the surrounding hilly landscape.

A high-performance ventilated façade

The external envelope was built using ADDWind, the ventilated façade system by Isopan designed to ensure energy efficiency, durability, and indoor comfort.

Installed over an area of more than 460 square meters, the system has created a continuous and high-performance cladding, capable of improving the building’s thermal behavior and reducing its annual energy demand.

The ventilated air cavity allows for proper management of humidity and surface temperature, helping to maintain optimal indoor conditions. Moreover, the system’s modularity facilitated installation, optimizing on-site construction times.

The architectural HPL cladding by Fundermax

To complete the ADDWind system, the surface finish was achieved using HPL panels by Fundermax, made of 70% cellulose fibers and 30% thermosetting resins.
Thanks to an innovative surface treatment, the panels are compact, decorative, and durable, with a non-porous texture that makes them easy to clean and less susceptible to graffiti and dirt.

They also offer excellent resistance to scratches, impacts, weathering, and chemicals, ensuring long-term color stability—certified according to EN 20105-A02 and covered by a 10-year European warranty.

The roof: efficiency and technological integration

The project also included the construction of a metal roof with a steel structure, designed to ensure lightness, strength, and quick installation. The system guarantees high airtightness and watertightness, contributing to the building’s overall thermal efficiency.

An integrated photovoltaic system was installed on the roof surface, enabling the facility to generate renewable energy on-site, thus reducing consumption and environmental impact.
The combination of steel structure, insulated panels, and solar technology is a tangible example of how offsite prefabrication can combine performance, sustainability, and architectural design in the industrial sector.

A new model for industrial construction

The new Coprem facility represents a significant evolution in the concept of industrial architecture: an efficient, distinctive, and sustainable building where every detail is designed to last.

The use of the ADDWind system by Isopan and the Fundermax HPL cladding, together with the quality of the steel structure and photovoltaic energy production, defines a construction model that unites technology, aesthetics, and environmental responsibility.

A project that embodies the vision of a modern Italian industry—solid, efficient, and capable of expressing its identity through architecture and sustainable innovation.
