Following the demolition of a 1960s industrial building, a new structure was erected to house the offices of Neos.
The two-story building features distinct functional areas, highlighted by the different use of materials. The ground floor, designed for showrooms, has a solid appearance with large glass panels to maximize visibility and direct natural light. The upper floor is characterized by a lightweight, dynamic envelope that provides privacy for office spaces, while offering a more controlled and comfortable natural lighting environment.
Isopan supplied the wall cladding solutions for the project, using the ADDWind ventilated facade system. The solution included Isofire Roof sandwich panels with a mineral wool core and EI90 fire resistance certification. These panels formed the base for the facade, which was later completed with an external finish consisting of 3mm thick perforated aluminum panels. The features of Isopan's solution met the project's thermal, acoustic, and fire resistance requirements.
The entire building was designed with off-site structures and dry-assembled components, minimizing construction time. The ADDWind system played a key role in this efficiency, allowing for the assembly of 60 square meters of cladding per day without the need for scaffolding. Installation was completed using a basket lift, dividing the process into two phases. The first phase involved installing the panels to close the building envelope, enabling interior work and exterior excavation for the parking area to proceed. The second phase concluded with the installation of the architectural cladding.
The patented ADDWind system, thanks to its robustness, provides the ideal foundation for any type of architectural cladding, offering maximum aesthetic flexibility for the facade.
