Manni Group has been improving its ESG Rating annually since 2021

For the fourth consecutive year, Manni Group has voluntarily requested an ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) evaluation from Cerved Rating Agency, based on the activities carried out in 2023. This journey, which began in 2021, highlights the Group's ongoing commitment to continuously improving performance across all areas of its business.

Over the past few years, Manni Group has consistently improved its ESG score. Starting from a score of 65.4 in 2021, which increased to 67.5 in 2022 (with a BBB rating), the Group reached a significant milestone last year by achieving an A-level ESGe rating with a score of 70.1. This year, the score further rose to 72.7, maintaining its position within the High category.

Manni Group’s ESGe score breakdown remains above the median across all parameters when compared to companies in the “Equipment & Machinery” sector in which it was evaluated. Cerved Rating Agency particularly highlights the Group's strong ability to manage ESG-related risks and opportunities. In the Environmental sphere, Cerved notes the expansion of ISO 14001 certified management systems to more Group companies and the adoption of a socio-environmental performance evaluation system for its supply chain. On the Social front, the Group has earned the JUST label from the Living Future Association, which attests to corporate transparency regarding social justice and equity. Additionally, Manni Group has extended D&I (Diversity & Inclusion) and ESG-related training to more employees. The Governance section stands out from the sector's median thanks to initiatives such as the appointment of an advisory board with consultative functions, the strengthening of ERM (Enterprise Risk Management), and the development of a Group-wide sustainability strategy.

Manni Group is committed to annually showcasing its progress through its sustainability reporting, the ESG Report, aimed at all stakeholders, both internal and external to the company. As Helen Scandellari, Business Sustainability Officer, states: “Manni Group is deeply committed to raising awareness about ESG topics among employees and local communities, to inform them about corporate practices and encourage their direct involvement in building a more sustainable future. Our focus on sustainability is a concerted effort between the Group and the communities where we operate: this allows us to build stronger, long-lasting bonds and gain trust to work together in tackling environmental and social challenges. Only together can we make a significant contribution through a transparent and educational approach.”
